Water Color 4 oz hand dyed New Zealand Romney Roving(woolen prep)

$18.00
Sold Out

This is not top, it is roving. This is really interesting milled roving(woolen prep). I had to get some to try! This is New Zealand Romney which is touted as feeling softer than the actual microns. Romney has Micron count of 31-38 is an outerwear fiber, sturdy, takes dye beautifully and is not next to skin soft. It spins beautifully. I didn’t believe it, but it felt more coarse just touching it in roving form, but when I started to spin it, it softened and although still not next to skin soft is getting close! This is worth a try!
